Grand Theft Auto Add On Exceeds 1 Million

Rockstar’s choice to release an add-on exclusive to the Xbox 360 called The Lost and Damned appears to have been a good gamble with is already hitting the one million sold barrier.

It would appear that Grand Theft Auto IV fans can’t get enough of the title, and the downloadable content has extended the sales beyond perhaps what the publisher had hoped. The company has not yet indicated whether the sales numbers that the exclusive content have produced are enough to see the company continue to branch out in offering this type of episode add-on content in the future.

Fans of the series should be excited to know that the studio is already hard at work on the second episode that will be exclusive for the Xbox 360, and it should likely be ready for players to download in November just short of the end of the fiscal year for the company. Little is known yet as to the details of the second episode, but it is expected that the company should announce more details in the E3 time frame.
